Our Simple 4-Step Process
- We start with a 15–20 minute free consultation to learn more about your child’s needs and answer any questions you may have. This can be done over the phone or via video call—whatever works best for you!
- If speech therapy seems like a good fit, we’ll schedule an evaluation to get a clearer picture of your child’s strengths and areas for growth.
- During the evaluation, we’ll assess your child’s speech, language, and communication skills in a fun, play-based and engaging way. Depending on your child’s needs, this may include standardized testing, informal assessments, and caregiver input.
- Afterward, we’ll discuss the results and develop a personalized therapy plan tailored to your child’s unique goals.
- Therapy sessions are designed to be interactive, motivating, and effective, whether in your home, a community setting, or via teletherapy.
- We use evidence-based techniques and play-based activities to keep your child engaged while making meaningful progress.
- We also provide home practice strategies so you can feel confident supporting your child’s growth outside of sessions.
- Right now, Little Lantern accepts private pay and possible out-of-network reimbursement. (We’ll be happy to guide you through this process!) Therapy is scheduled at a frequency that best supports your child’s needs, with options for weekly or biweekly sessions.
- Have questions about payment or insurance? We’re here to help!
